But one thing stays solid, one point they ain’t gonna miss: that beautiful baby girl, Brooklyn, who is two years young. Everything they do? It’s for the child, period.
So peep this: The estranged couple had a little family reunion, packed their bags, and took off for a whole vibe in the Bahamas. Yes, honey, a getaway!
Mama Kenya hit the ‘Gram on Sunday, May 27th, dropping a photo of herself, Brooklyn, and Marc posted up at the SLS Baha Mar Hotel. Now, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star just hit the milestone — the big 5-0 — but listen, she was eating the girls up!
She was absolutely snatching in a snake-print cut-out swimsuit, flashing that million-dollar smile next to her family. She topped that aqua-look with a sheer white duster and some sandals, showing all the way out, truly “blowing and glowing in the wind”— you know that effortless shine!
And listen, Baby Brooklyn wasn’t about to be outdone. She was serving model behavior, too! Striking a pose in an adorable Givenchy one-piece and matching flip-flops. She was soaking up that sun, enjoying the life, and, most importantly, getting her whole life with that watermelon. The whole family understood the assignment!
Now, the energy between Kenya and Marc, in the pictures at least? It was giving peace. And that’s a win, especially because she told ESSENCE back in December things were “fragile.” They split in 2019, been doing the on-again, off-again dance, but that communication was always the friction.
She told them straight: she can go toe-to-toe with her RHOA co-stars all day, but when it comes to her man? Nope.
“I am very big on talking and not fighting and just explaining things so we can get to an understanding… For me, that doesn’t work. When it comes to someone that I love, I don’t hit below the belt. I don’t fight people that I love. That’s kind of been a major factor in our relationship that makes me shut down. I just will not tolerate a certain type of communication.”
Soon after that, Marc was talking about finalizing the divorce, but seeing this vacation? Don’t ever count out the hope! Whether they reunite or not, we just glad to see that beautiful family looking happy and whole.
